Rev. Phil Bland
Hi! I’m Pastor Phil Bland, but you can just call me Phil. I was raised in Oklahoma as was my high school sweetheart and wife, Julie. In 1995 we moved to San Antonio. As we like to say, we got to Texas as fast as we could! Julie and I have been married since 1982 and we have raised two wonderful young men: Randy and Ryan. Both of our sons serve in the United States military. Randy serves in the U.S. Navy and Ryan serves in the U.S. Army. Both boys have families of their own now. We have four wonderful grandchildren: Princess, Tiffany, Skilynn, and Theodore. Julie and I love having dinner with friends, taking rides in the country on our motorcycle, visiting shops and museums, and hanging out at the beach. I love sports, particularly football and baseball. I have a passion for music and studying the Bible, but most importantly I have a passion for Jesus. I am truly blessed to have been called to serve this wonderful church. As we journey together, we know that Jesus is alongside journeying with us!
