After completing her education, she served as the associate pastor of pastoral care at First UMC of Marble Falls.
Pastor Jeana’s passion is to serve God and others and a large part of her ministry is focused on building relationships. She served as pastor of First UMC Weimar, Texas, and helped the church connect with the local community and implement outreach and fellowship ministries geared toward children and families. A youth group and kids’ choir became part of the outreach and ministry as well. In addition to relational ministry, she also enjoys planning and implementing worship, preaching and equipping others for leadership in the local church and community. She is a vision-oriented individual and will invite others to join in discerning and implementing God’s vision for the church.
Mission and service are important parts of growing as disciples of Jesus and she hopes to encourage engagement with the community. A life of faith is not one that is stagnant and one of her passions is small group ministry and helping others grow in relationship with God. Part of her call to ministry includes a focus on counseling. She has experience working with groups, individuals and couples and helping them navigate difficult transitions and life events. In addition to serving as a pastor, she is working on becoming fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor. These skills have been beneficial in ministry and they are an essential part of her call to ministry.
